The dimension of bolster bearing is very important key point of crankshaft,the installation precision of crankshaft and crankcase be impacted by bolster bearing dimension.It is cause engine noise and life.For example: there are 5 bolster bearing of the crankshaft of four cylinder engine.They are same dimension and tolerance.But during machining process,due to environment and equipment temperature,operator experience,cutting tool wear,it will result in the tolerance variability of bolster bearing are dynamic.The dynamic variability can not be forecasted in advance until crankshaft finished dimension inspection.In order to get the best assembly precision,the main bearing be used to compensate the tolerance of bolster bearing.Because of the character of crankshaft,it will cause more trouble to lean logistics.The thesis is focus on lean supply chain and logistics management of B automotive company,according to deeply investigation and analysis,The issue which described in thesis represent the common issue in all the engine plants,but due to long or short supply chain,localization rate,supply management level are different,it causes the risk and cost are different.But base on current fierce competition in automotive market,high quality and lean production is only way to the winner.The investigation and analysis of thesis to express B automotive company how to do the innovation and improvement on lean Logistics management,to eliminate the waste to get high efficiency to achieve whole supply chain is optimization,enhance core competence of B automotive company.The theory of lean logistics,analysis and solution which were used in thesis,could be refer to the other company on lean production and continue improvement.The thesis was split in 5 sections.The first chapter introduces background and benefit of investigation,and then brief described current status of “main bearing controlling in engine plant in domestic and oversea.Finally,express the target\content\method of the investigation.In the chapter2,introduced the current status of B automotive company supply chain,including supply chain IT system,strategy of lean logistics,the method of how to implement lean logistics in B company.Chapter3 is focus on what is current status of main bearing lean logistics in B company and exist problem.And what is impact for Logistics cost saving,clearly described the bottle neck to prevent lean logistics management on main bearing.In the chapter4,described the solution of main bearing lean logistics.Chapter5 present the effect of solution after it was implemented in B company,and continue improvement in future.
