The Shengli Drilling Institute has 40 years of its history,serve exploring and exploiting oil field.In the process of development,Shengli Drilling Institute has formed a profound "drill-research" culture,which support the Shengli Drilling Institute continuing developing and growing.Shengli Drilling Institute "drill-research" culture has the characteristics of Daqing spirit and the Iron-man spirit,it plays an important role in unifying employee values,speeding up the research works.However,with the development of socialist market economy and the reform of state-owned enterprises,Shengli Drilling Institute "drill-research" culture has no more advantage in uniting staff,inspiring work enthusiasm,etc,even has negative effect,make the enterprise depressing increasingly,in urgent need of reform and innovation.With the help of questionnaire and conversation,the unreasonable appearance in corporate culture and management were summarized,then find out main problem in spirit culture,system culture,behavior culture and material culture.respectively is core values hard to guide sustainable development,system culture cannot fully stimulate innovation vitality,complicated interpersonal relationship restrict cooperation,material culture is no help with brand building.Then analyse the three major challenges to Shengli Drilling Institute,which are the low oil price,go public and the revision of the construction Outline for corporate culture of SINOPEC.According to the problems and challenges,it gives the goal and principles of corporate culture innovation,and puts forward the innovation and reform measures to achieve sustainable development of enterprises."Customer first,employees first" should be the key to the innovation of spirit culture.On this basis,the innovation of system culture need to promote the reform in the organizational structure for project-oriented,flexibility,and build a fair and reasonable incentive mechanism;the innovation of behavior culture to cultivate prospect-style,revolutionary leader,and improve employee innovation ability and the spirit of cooperation;the innovation of material culture mainly to enhance the public image of the enterprise and brand awareness.
