| As the second highest energy consumption in chemical industry,chlor-alkali industry is developing with the model of high investment,high energy consumption and high emission.We have to contribute to energy conservation and emissions reduction.To these problems,we have to adopt modern scientific management methods and tools to carry out the scientific management of energy.So it is very necessary for the chlor-alkali industry to find a practical energy saving method.The target of this paper is to study the method of solving high unit energy consumption issue of F chlor-alkali company.This paper studies the background and significance of the project.High unit energy consumption issue was found and four key reasons of high unit energy consumption were analyzed by researching on F chlor-alkali company with information and data collection from first line of production.Four key reasons are:lower reliability of energy metering equipment,poor process energy consumption key performance indicators and the key operating variables,the lack of intelligent functions of energy monitoring and management system,no enough tools to identify energy saving opportunities.To these four key reasons,related solutions are:the TPM theory of equipment management is used to solve the poor reliability of metering equipment,while the improvement proposal tool in TPM motivates employees to propose a lot of energy saving opportunities.SMART principle is to set clear energy control key indicators and key variables,it not only can make managers to quickly understand daily energy performance and problem sources,but also can make first line operators timely identify and solve energy consumption issues.By optimizing the intelligent energy management system to monitor and manage energy use and supply,and improving the application of intelligent energy management system,it can let information transferring and feedback between users,energy suppliers and energy dispatcher.It avoids production interruption or excess supply.Energy key indicators and key variables can be integrated into intelligent energy management system which can provide alarm function and real-time monitoring to avoid energy waste.Introduction of pinch analysis as the main energy saving opportunity identification tool is to optimize the heat exchange network by better using process cold flow and heat flow to minimize the supply of cooling and heating from utility.The methods to solve high unit energy consumption is not only useful for F chlor-alkali company,but also for other chlor-alkali company or chemical industries. |
