The Analysis Of Energy Consumption And Industry Energy Consumption Of Beijing

Energy is the material basis of human development and power protection, Human development requires energy. Beijing is China's capital, and is also the country's political and cultural center. Although compared to economic growth, the growth in energy consumption is slow, Beijing is a city which almost entirely relying on inputting energy. Now the shortage of energy has been to a restricting factor for economic development in Beijing. Beijing has been to the lowest in energy intensity in China from 2007 for the first time. But Beijing is a very low energy efficiency city comparing with other developed district or nations.This paper analyzed its characteristics of economic development and energy consumption. This paper also analyzed the connection economic development and energy consumption with improved Cobb-Douglas production function. About energy intensity, we can use total factor decomposition method to analyses which more important between industrial structure and energy efficiency. Combining the development orientations of Beijing in future, it should be reformed by improving energy efficiency, industrial structure, developing new energy and renewable energy as well.
