With the rapid development of the software industry,market competition in this field has become increasingly fierce,which in turn put a higher requirement forward the software development enterprises.This requires the software project enterprises not only adjust their management philosophy,but also improve the software project’s schedule management level while the scale of software development projects is expanding in order to meet the unceasingly demand for the construction of software projects in the market.Meanwhile,by enhancing the software project’s on-time delivery,operation quantity and ratio,promote market share and thereby let the enterprise succeed all the time on the keenly competitive market.This article is in such a context of the current situation,taking schedule management of software project in M company as the background,and based on the results of interviews,a questionnaire was designed to investigate the current situation of the company,and the main factors affecting the progress of the software project were obtained by method of questionnaire.Afterwards,through analysis of the reasons of these factors,combined with the theory and method of modern project management theory,the improving countermeasure of the software project schedule management of M company were raised,and expecting these measures could improve the M company’s software project schedule management capabilities and project on-time delivery rate.Finally,taking the IBS project as a case,this paper makes a detailed analysis of its schedule and control process.In addition,the results of this study intend not only to solve the problem of software project schedule delays for M company,but serve as reference for other similar enterprises in the software industry who likewise under the pressure of market competition. |
