Personal knowledge management is particularly important in the era of knowledge economy.The success of personal knowledge management largely affects personal performance and organizational performance.So in the background of the era of knowledge economy,this paper studies the relationship between the capability of personal knowledge management and employee performance.Based on the theory of personal knowledge management and employee performance theory,this paper constructs a relational model of knowledge workers'capability of personal knowledge management and employee performance,and puts forward theoretical hypotheses.Questionnaires were sent to knowledge workers in all walks of life.Then,SPSS tools were used to analyze the questionnaire data,and the theoretical models and theoretical hypotheses were verified.This study shows that knowledge workers' capability to acquire knowledge has positive impact on task performance,contextual performance and remote performance;knowledge workers' capability to share knowledge has positive impact on innovation performance,task performance,contextual performance,and remote performance;knowledge workers' capability to create knowledge has positive impact on innovation performance;knowledge worker's capability to apply knowledge has positive impact on innovation performance,task performance,contextual performance and remote performance.This paper uses empirical research to study the impact of personal knowledge management capability on employee performance.The results not only enrich the theory of personal knowledge management and employee performance,but also provide reference for individuals and enterprises.According to the conclusion of this paper,knowledge workers can improve their performance by improving their personal knowledge management capability.Enterprises can increase the training of personal knowledge management so as to promote the employee performance.
