Study On Cost Management Of Ground Improvement Based On Value Engineering

With the rapid development of China's economy and society,the contradiction between urban construction and urban land resource becomes more and more prominent.At present,one effective method to solve this contradiction is to exploit urban underground space and/or build high-rise building,which leads more and more foundation pits of deep depth and large area are needed.Accordingly,construction enterprises encounter more and more opportunities,meanwhile construction cost management problems are becoming more and more serious.Therefore,in order to achieve the efficient and reasonable management of project cost,the establishment of cost management theory and method based on the characteristics of foundation treatment project is a very high-profile and urgent issue in the foundation treatment project.The solution of this problem is capable of providing the necessary scientific basis for the design and optimization of the foundation treatment scheme,as well as the smooth implementation of the construction process.At present,rational and scientific theory of cost management for foundation treatment engineering is lack.Most traditional cost management methods are based on intuitive experience,and lack of rigorous and systematic theoretical basis.In contrast,value engineering,as the combination of technology and economy,is a scientific and theoretical method,the aim of which is to reliably realize and improve the necessary functions of a product or system with the lowest life cycle cost.Therefore,value engineering can be used as the theoretical basis for the cost management research of foundation treatment engineering.Based on the scientific theory and method of the value engineering,this paper demonstrates the basic principle of the application of the value engineering in the foundation treatment engineering.Then,the cost management of the foundation treatment engineering is studied systematically of one specific foundation treatment project based on the value engineering.The functional system diagram of the foundation treatment project is established by systematically analyzing and evaluating the function of the foundation treatment engineering,which can be used to quantify the fuzzy and unclear factors.Then,according to the function analysis and evaluation of the foundation treatment project,the alternative schemes which can reliably realize the required function are selected,and the comparison and managerial decision of the economic benefit,rationality and feasibility of the alternative schemes are performed.Finally,a set of systematic theoretical methods capable of effectively managing the cost of ground treatment is established,which proves the feasibility and advantage of using the value engineering method to manage the cost of ground treatment.
