The employment is foundation of the livelihood of the people. Along with Liaoning old industrial base restructuring the economy deepen further, serious employment problems interweave to present. The employment pressure grows day by day. Under this background, employees in Liaoning Province tradition employment pattern drops year by year. Diversity employment pattern which takes the informal employment as representative includes large quantities of employees by its nimble employing institutions and the diverse employing form. It alleviates the current serious employment pressure. However because develops the time is short, at present many kinds of employment pattern also have some problems, such as worker's social security degree low, the labor market lacks the effective management, the legal laws and regulations are not perfect and so on. These problems seriously affected the development of diversity employment pattern. Therefore, it has important theoretical and realistic meaning on discussing how to clear up the disadvantage factor in diversity employment pattern development and enlarge employment opportunity in Liaoning old industrial base.Firstly, basing on the labor market division theory, the dual economic structure theory and the institutional transition theory, this article induces and compares many kinds of employment patterns including the placement employment and the market employment, the formal employment and the informal employment, the stage employment, the order form employment, the labor export patterns and so on. It refers to the successful experience of abroad employment patterns and put forward accordingly for suggestions to our country. Secondly, with the method of qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis, combination the statistical data of nation-wide and Liaoning province over the years, it analyzed current overall employment situation of Liaoning from the aspects such as employment scale, employment structure and employment prospect. Through review to the employment pattern development history, it analyzed current situation and the restriction factors of the Liaoning Province diversity employment pattern. Finally, it proposed corresponding countermeasures to develop diversity employment patterns and expand employment of Liaoning. The author thought it must integrate the diversity employment pattern into whole developmental strategy of Liaoning, make macroscopic policy and management system, combine economic structural adjustment and employment, encourage the new employment patterns development, eliminate the barrier factors and provide the good system safeguard and the market environment for the diversity employment pattern. Though these measures, it can promote the Liaoning Province economy and society coordinated development.
