Since the 21st century,how to improve a company’s performance and core competitiveness has become an important subject for domestic and foreign enterprises before carrying out performance management.As the market grows mature and competition becomes fierce,traditional electricity system is facing increasingly serious challenges.The lack of strategies and inadequate implementation are both bottlenecks restricting the development of performance management in power industry.In this context,to better adapt to environmental changes and cope with great competition pressure brought by marketization of electric power,power enterprises must formulate a set of scientific and effective performance evaluation system to support enterprise operation.In this thesis,existing performance evaluation system of Nanjindu Power Station is analyzed and problems in the system are pointed out.For example,the existing performance evaluation system mismatches with the company’s strategies;the application of performance evaluation is quite unitary;the evaluation lacks ti:mely and effective communication and feedback.To determine the company’s strategies,based on the existing strategies of Nanjindu Power Station and basic situations in current power industry,an optimal strategic map for Nanjindu Power Station is formulated.Based on balanced score card,the performance evaluation system of Nanjindu Power Station is improved,and then a strategy-oriented company-level performance evaluation system is formed.Evaluation indexes are selected from the financial level,customer level,internal operation level,study and growing levels.The improved performance evaluation system can effectively promote the realization of strategic goals of Nanjindu Power Station,guide and standardize daily operation of Nanjindu Power Station and enhance the favorable relationships between customers and the station,so that employees can grow together with the station.In this thesis,the whole application process of new performance evaluation system based on balanced score card in Nanjindu Power Station is illustrated.The implementation of the system starts from strategic deployment.The strategy-oriented performance evaluation system can fundamentally avoid the phenomenon of strategy-evaluation separation.When designing specific indexes,the company’s specific situation and strategies serve as the bases and balanced score card serves as guiding idea.Lastly,corresponding safeguard measures are put forward for the implementation of performance evaluation system of Nanjindu Power Station,which provides referential ideas and methods to the improvement of the performance evaluation of the company.
