The role of Transport Infrastructures in regional economic growth has been a hot topic in academic field, especially the effects of Transport Infrastructures on the coordinated development of urban agglomeration.Have the the Transport Infrastructures promoted the space agglomeration or contributed to the spread of radiation by the developed regions? The academia have not yet formed a consistent conclusion.Effects of transport infrastructures on regional economic is worth exploring.Analysis of the effects of traffic on coordinated economic development in the urban agglomeration is conducive to the differentiated investment in the construction of traffic infrastructures and optimize the traffic space layout, which has important implications for regional plans and regional economy coordinate development.By combination with the present situation of unbalanced development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei urban agglomeration, the paper explores the role of Transport Infrastructures in economic development by measuring the direct effect and the indirect effect of Transport Infrastructures in the perspective of spatial correlation. On the basis of theoretical analysis, the paper forms an analysis framework of spatial spillover effects of Transport Infrastructures, which is the basis, the path and the conclusion of the spatial spillover effects of the Transport Infrastructures through analyzing the traffic infrastructures spillover effects theory and literature. On the basis of the positive analysis, the paper analyses the development trend and the change of spatial structure of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei urban agglomeration by the ESDA method. And the paper measures the direct effect and the indirect effect of transport infrastructures by spatial econometric methods on the basis of using the data from 1996 to 2015.Based on analysis, producing proposals of Transport Infrastructures plans on investment construction promotes the coordinated development of urban agglomeration economy.First of all, early studies are lacking in the cognition the network and spatial externalities of transport infrastructures, not analyzing its impact on the regional economy from the perspective of spatial correlation, which leads to the output estimation errors of the output elasticity and the effectiveness of Transport Infrastructures plans and spatial layout.Based on the theory of spatial agglomeration and diffusion in new economic geography, the paper puts forward the essence of traffic spillover effects on the economy which is traffic infrastructures promoting the spatial agglomeration and diffusion.Secondly,The paper draws traffic and economic spatial distribution of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei urban agglomeration based on exploratory spatial data analysis by Arcgis and Geoda. With Moran ’I index analysis and LISA diagram, the economic spatial dependence of the urban agglomeration is strengthened, and the spatial differential characteristics is obvious. The economic development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei urban agglomeration is not balanced and economic differentiation greatly.Thirdly, this paper use spatial Durbin model measuring direct effect and indirect effect on spillover effects of traffic infrastructures. The study find that the ordinary panel model will directly output underestimate the Transport Infrastructures on regional economic contribution. And Transport Infrastructures have positive direct effects and negative spillover effects. After that, due to the direct effect of traffic direct effect is bigger than the spillover effects, the total effect is positive.Fourthly, based on the above analysis,Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei urban agglomeration should take differentiated investment strategy, optimize the network structure of Transport Infrastructures to promote economic development and narrow the disparity of regional economy.
