A Study On The Logistics Industrial Agglomeration And Its Effects In Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei

The logistics industry, as an important part and the accelerator of the economy, also has the phenomenon of agglomeration, which is an inevitable choice for the development of China’s logistics industry. Meanwhile, in the context of the integration of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, the coordinated development and agglomeration of the logistics industry in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei is the basis of its economy development and an important way to accelerate the integration. Therefore, to promote the reasonable logistics industrial agglomeration is currently one of the important and practical problems, which needs to be solved in the process of the integration of Beij ing-Tianj in-Hebei.Based on the introduction of industrial agglomeration and logistics industrial agglomeration, the paper firstly analyzes the current situation of logistics industry, and then calculates the degree of logistics industrial agglomeration in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei. The results show that there is a phenomenon of logistics industrial agglomeration in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei; but there is s huge difference about the degree of agglomeration in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, the degree of logistics industrial agglomeration in Beijing is the highest, followed by Tianjin, and the degree of logistics industrial agglomeration in Hebei is lowest. Then analyzing the production function of logistics industry and calculating the index of the effects of logistics industrial agglomeration, the results show that the degree of agglomeration has made a greater contribution to the logistics industrial values; the effectss of industrial agglomeration in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei is significant, the effects of industrial agglomeration in Beijing is also significant, while the effects of the industrial agglomeration in Hebei and Tianjin is not significant. Finally, by the above empirical analysis, we find the problems in the process of the development of logistics industry in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region, and then propose policies and recommendations on the problems. In this paper, we study the logistics industry’s development, logistics industrial agglomeration and its effects. Therefore, it can provide the theoretical basis for the government to establish scientific, reasonable and effective policy and to promote the sustained and healthy development of logistics industry in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei.
