The Research Of Supplier Management Strategy For RT Corporation

Economic globalization is not a new concept any more nowadays.For Chinese enterprises,they face not only economic globalization,but also increasingly fierce international competition.In order to strength its international competitiveness,Enterprises must improve the level of technology and improve all aspects of business facilitation.Procurement management is the most important source of supply,and a main part of profit for capital flow.It plays a major role in the product management,Quality assurance and comprehensive supply chain management,enterprises must strengthen procurement management,in particular to improve vendor management.This paper analyzes the supplier management practice of RT company,discusses the supplier cost,quality and delivery time management,and studies the evaluation and selection of suppliers' risk management,established the supplier management system for RT Corporation including supplier selection and evaluation,supplier classification,supplier performance appraisal and supplier relationship management.By implementing AHP to determine the weight of indexes of the supplier selection and performance appraisal makes the results more scientific and reasonable.This thesis has great value not only in supplier management for the effective measures of continuous improvement in RT Corporation but also for other foreign trading and sourcing enterprises as well.
