Research On Supplier Risk Management Strategy Of WLF Trading Company

Along with the increasingly fierce market competition recent year, the enterprise supplier chain risk management is very important. It should be with efficient, fast, stable supply chain and it’s the basis of production and development of the enterprise. It is bound to affect the overall superiority in the supply chain and the foreign trade company is particularly important. As foreign trade companies which are not directly engaged in manufacturing, all goods must be highly dependent on the downstream suppliers to provide. It’s the key component of the entire operating system of foreign trade companies that their suppliers are. Due to the industry competition and the interests driving, it’s getting to critical that how to successfully select and manage suppliers, real-time grasp supplier of dynamics in the process of cooperation and prevent and avoid supplier risk brings to the enterprise risk. The success is the foreign trade company of crucial to achieving its market position and overall competitiveness in the supply chain.Because of the lack of vendor support recent year, it makes WLF trading company has weakening or even risky products in quality, price, delivery advantage, which seriously led the company to a serious decline in volume of business. As the same time, the supplier’s moral trust risk problem has become increasingly prominent in WLF. In the meanwhile, the leadership system is not standardized, and there is no perfect risk management system. The awareness of risk prevention is not strong and so on. In a word, supplier risk management has become an important issue for the survival and development of WLF. In this thesis, according to the research results of existing supplier risk management and combined with WLF foreign trade company’s supplier risk status, also based on the characteristics of foreign trade companies, the author carried on the analysis on supplier risk sources and factors by applying Cause and Effect analysis method and fish bone, established the supplier risk evaluation index for WLF foreign trade company. On this basis, to evaluate the supplier risk by applying the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method, and at the same time, relevant theories on supplier selection, relational orientation of suppliers and classification and risk management are applied to the foreign trade companies of the supplier risk management, and put forward some recommendations and measures for supplier risk management in WLF. It is to avoid losses caused due to the supplier’s risk management in a certain extent. This is help to make the market position in the supply chain stability, and ultimately its supplier win-win development.Hope that this thesis could provide suggestions and helps to the supplier’s risk management for the non-productive foreign trade enterprises. At the same time, the author hopes this thesis also could further deepen the supplier risk management related theory in the application of foreign trades.
