Economic globalization and market integration bring unprecedented pressure to bear on an increasing number of industries. Since the global financial tsunami broke out comprehensively and spread rapidly, a lot of enterprises have shrunk even gone bankrupt because they couldn't stand violent economic declination and upheaval.Supply Management is an integrated management theory and method, which comprises the whole process from suppliers to clients, and such four fields like supply, production plan, logistics and demand are mainly involved.This dissertation adopts the indirect sourcing management of GA company as an instance, introduces the features of indirect sourcing management and the difference between direct and indirect material sourcing, and describes the current management situation of indirect supply of GA company. Further, this dissertation concludes and analyzes three main issues influencing the whole indirect sourcing performance: complicated and inefficient process of indirect sourcing management, troublesome integration of indirect suppliers, and difficult cost control of indirect sourcing.With regard to the above-mentioned issues and their adverse effects, the author, putting knowledge and theory learnt during MBA courses into this dissertation, adopting SWOT analytical method, and seizing the features of indirect material sourcing, brings forward the following improvement ideas: modify current sourcing process and simplify complicated assessment, so as to customize assessment method for indirect sourcing management, integrate suppliers resources of low value consumables and standardize method, change the traditional concept of indirect sourcing, intervene supplier when the request is planning and finalizes cost control through reduce the consumption reasonably.Although there are still many deficiencies in this dissertation, I hope that the indirect sourcing of GA company keep thriving in future through targeted improvements in this dissertation, which will facilitate GA company to grow more competitive.
