With the continuously development of the economy, our country's demand of energy become larger and larger. The amount of carbon footprint of energy consumption also become larger and larger.China has become the most prominent country of this problem. In recent years, more and more attention has been paid to energy saving, emission reduction and the problem of ecosystem around the world. Our country is also keeping up with the pace of the world, and increased the emphasis on energy consumption, carbon footprint reduction and environmental protection. In this paper,we measured the carbon footprint of energy consumption of China's 30 provinces(except Tibet),analyzed the influencing factors of the carbon footprint, and explored the regional differences of influencing factors of carbon footprint in China.First of all, make the analysis of China's energy consumption situation. From the energy consumption, the average annual energy consumption, per capita energy consumption and other points of view, and make a comprehensive analysis of China's energy consumption situation.China's overall energy consumption increased year by year and the regional differences significantly.Secondly, the energy consumption carbon footprint is calculated. The energy consumption carbon footprint of 30 provinces in China is measured by input-output method and divided 30 provinces into three parts of east, central and west and the results are analyzed.China's energy consumption footprint is large, the overall trend of rising,But after 2007,the upward trend is slow,a small number of provinces there is a downward trend, the regional differences are obviously.Thirdly, this paper studied the influencing factor decomposition of energy consumption carbon footprint by model of STIRPAT.Then analyzed the empirical analysis of east, central and west part. The empirical results show that the most significant factor is the affluence of per capita GDP,the impact of various factors for different regions is also obviously different. Finally, the main conclusions of this study and related policy recommendations are given.
