Research On Inter-industry Spillover Effect Of China's Manufacturing Technology Import

Technological progress is an important driving force to sustainable economic development of a country.With the deepening of international exchanges and cooperation,technology import has become the main way to get technological progress in China.In recent years,China has paid more and more attention to technology import.Importing a large number of technology relies on believing it has technology spillover effects.So researching on spillover effects of technology import is of great significance.This article is based on the macro data of China science and technology statistical yearbook and China industrial economic statistical yearbook,research on the existence of spillover effects between industry of technology import,the path of role and influence factors of 16 segment of China's manufacturing industry.The main research train of thought of this paper is,first,explores the existence of spillover effects between industry of China's manufacturing technology import,and then analysis the role paths of technology import spill over into other industries,finally discusses the several main influencing factors that impact technology import spillover effect between industry.The introduction part mainly lead to selected topic background,purpose and research significance,and summarizes the current situation and the existing problems of China's technology import.The second chapter mainly lists related research results about the technology import spillover effect between industry at home and abroad,and put forward the problem that can be improved in the present researches.The third chapter analysis the existence of China's technology import spillover effect between industry,path of role and influencing factors on the theoretical.Fourth chapter selected 16 Chinese manufacturing industry data to do empirical test for the existence of technology import spillover effects between industry,the path of role and affect factors,construct theoretical models,introduce the multiply of technology import and industry innovation,in order to explore the indirect path of technology import spillover effect between industry.The fifth chapter summarizes the research conclusion of this article,elaborated the possible theoretical and practical reasons,and puts forward relevant policy suggestions.The study found that China's manufacturing technology import has negative spillover effects within the industry,at the same time,there are positive forward spillover effect and negative backward spillover effect.Moreover,indirect path of inter-industry spillover effect is shown as:in the process of forward spillover,technology import and R&D of the industry are alternative relations,in the same words,the technology import weaken the R&D,they two both weaken enterprise efficiency;But in the process of backward spillover,technology import and R&D of the industry are complementary,in the same words,the technology import enhance R&D of the industry,they two both promote enterprise efficiency.In many affect factors of technology import inter-industry spillover effects,human capital,industry's ability of digestion and absorption and its opening degree,and they both promote the spillover effect.
