| The key to the transformation of China’s economy from high-speed growth to high-quality growth is the improvement of total factor productivity and the need to pay more attention to domestic technological progress. However,in recent years, the growth of total factor productivity has slowed down, and import trade has contributed to the improvement of total factor productivity.Under the background of China’s long-term trade surplus, active import policies can not only ease international relations but also promote domestic technological progress through the spillover effects of foreign technologies. This article analyzes the domestic and international research status of imported technology spillovers and finds that most scholars’ research shows that there is a technology spillover effect in import trade, and the size of its spillover effect is mainly affected by domestic technology level,R&D capital investment, human capital, opening level, and economic development.Level, level of financial development, and institutional impact;some scholars have demonstrated through theoretical analysis or empirical research that these influencing factors have a threshold effect on imported technology spillovers, but there are not many studies on the use of threshold models, and basically all have studied single factor spillovers to imported technology. The threshold effect on the entry threshold for imported technology is not comprehensive. This article analyzes theories of "life cycle" theory,"dry learning" theory and "creative destruction" theory, and theoretically verifies the existence of imported technology spillovers;through the analysis of absorptive capacity models and the analysis of import technology spillover mechanism Theoretically, the technical threshold, the R&D capital input, human capital, the level of opening up,the level of financial development, and the level of protection of intellectual property rights have been cited as thresholds for the spillover of imported technology. Then analyze the status quo of the technical content of imported products in each province, the growth rate of total factor productivity, and the above six influencing factors. Then combine the status quo of various regions with the threshold effect test results of imported technology spills, and analyze the threshold areas where each region is located. Finally, using the threshold model to perform GMM regression, the threshold effect of various influencing factors on import technology spillover is obtained. The empirical results show that only when the region spans the first threshold of human capital, the second threshold of technological level, the second threshold of R&D capital investment, the second threshold of financial development level, the second threshold of intellectual property protection, and the third threshold of opening level, the import technology Spillover will only promote technological progress in the region, and it will continue to leapfrog the threshold of influence factors. The promotion will increase.Combining the current situation in various regions of China, the eastern region has basically been able to use technology spillovers to promote technological advancement, but it is also necessary to further improve the level of intellectual property protection. At the same time, human capital,R&D capital investment, and the improvement of financial development level can all promote the import of eastern regions.Technology spillover effect;Central China also needs to cross the level of opening up to the outside world and the threshold of intellectual property rights to achieve positive import technology spillover effects;the western region still needs to cross the threshold of R&D capital investment, the level of opening to the outside world and the threshold of intellectual property protection to achieve Positive import technology spillover effect. At the same time, the six influencing factors studied in this paper can all promote the absorption of imported technologies in the central and western regions. Therefore,in order to give full play to the role of imports in promoting technological progress,China needs to further increase R&D capital investment, attach importance to personnel training and financial deepening reforms, and strengthen the protection of intellectual property;for the central and western regions,it is still necessary to gradually achieve higher levels. The opening up to the outside world, but the competitiveness of the enterprises in the central and western regions is relatively weak. When it is further opening to the outside world,it is also necessary to ensure that the local infant industry has sufficient competitiveness. |
