The Influence Of Hebei’s Logistics Development On Import And Export Trade

Along with the advance of epoch,modern economy is developing rapidly in recent years.Economic exchanges worldwide are becoming more and more frequent.Under this background,as one component of economic exchanges,foreign trade has become a key factor in the development of national economy.Logistics is the foundation and guarantee of foreign trade,and the development of foreign trade is the motivation of generation and development of the logistics.The two have a close relationship,they promote or restrict each other.Research and analysis of the relationship between them in a specific area helps to coordinate their matching degree.Therefore it can promote the regional industrial development efficiently,and further promote the comprehensive development of the region.The article takes the influence of logistics industry in Hebei province on foreign trade as the research subject.It presents a review of both domestic and international literature.The current situation of logistics industry and foreign trade in Hebei Province is summarized and the existing problems are analyzed.Based on the relevant data during 2004-2015,the correlativity between logistics and foreign trade is analyzed.First,the SPSS,including stationary test,VAR analysis,impulse response analysis and variance decomposition,is used.Then,the grey correlation analysis is proposed.Thus the relationship is clear.The results indicate that logistics industry in Hebei Province has a certain impact on the development of foreign trade.And the development of foreign trade in Hebei Province also has some positive effects on logistics industry,but the impact is relatively weaker.Among all the factors in logistics influencing the foreign trade development,the port cargo throughput has the greatest degree of association.The second is fixed asset investment in logistics industry,followed by railway freight turnover,logistics staff number,waterway freight turnover,pipeline freight turnover,the Internet user number and road freight turnover in order.At the end of this paper,based on the results of empirical analysis and drawing on the experience of domestic and foreign development,feasible suggestions for the development of logistics and foreign trade in Hebei Province are put forward.
