Indonesia open tourism growth opportunities for investor.Many places in Indonesia presents a tremendous potential but still weak in some sides.One of them is the Island of Karimunjawa which is a case study in this research.Karimunjawa Island provide a wide range of accommodation options,accommodation houses,bungalows,hotels and Resorts.By using qualitative methods of data obtained through questionnaires,interviews,and observation,researchers are exploring accommodation whatever the traveler choice,and why the choose the accommodation.The result showed the main option is homestay,because of price and proximity to local communities.The second option is the bungalow,because tourists can enjoy more privacy,quiet surroundings,and can enjoy the beauty of nature.Then resorts and hotels seem less attracted tourists on the island of Karimunjawa.This paper is composed of five chapters:Chapter ?:This chapter describes the research background and purpose and significance.It introduces the research method used in the paper and current external and internal study status about Karimunjawa Island as a tourism destination in Indonesia.Chapter ?:This chapter includes three contents.The first is about Indonesia tourism condition.The second is about Central Java Province.Chapter ?:This chapter is about Karimunjawa Island as a potential tourist destination condition.Chapter ?:This chapter is analysis about accommodation in Karimunjawa Island.This chapter is the interview result with the tourism and the 4P(Product,Price,Place,Promotion)analysis for marketing strategy.Chapter ?:This chapter is about conclusion and recommendation forfuture research.It summarize the paper's result and lists existed problem.It looks forward directions for further study.
