Accommodation industry as one of the earliest opening up industry experienced great development since the globalization of the world and china to be a member of WTO.The market competition become more and more fierce when foreign brands coming into china and domestic companies rise.Improve the service quality and customers feeling become the key factors.As customers becoming more and more personalize, it becomes a Emphasis that how to improve their satisfaction with fully consideration of their characters and personal need.Based on the description of the theory of travel preferences,tourists behaviour,service marketing and relevant content,we use different method to inspect the different of accommodation preference between customer of different character and region.We get some conclusion below:(1)hotels:tourists from cities and rural areas shows more and more strong need for hotel accommodations;tavern:city traveler shows less and less preference for tavern,but low-income travelers and old travelers from countryside still like tavern very much; relative house:city traveler shows less and less preference for relative house,but all rural travelers prefer relative house very much;other accommodations:more and more travelers choose other accommodations year by year.(2)Personal characters are important factors that affecting customers accommodation choice.travelers of different age、income-level、sex、purpose ect show great difference in accommodation choice.(3)Travel expenditure and service quality also could affect customers feeling of the quality.In the study content, the text is divided into six chapters.The first chapter is the introduction, proposed thesis research questions,explains the background and significance of research, full of clear ideas, methods and technical route, and related concepts are defined.The second chapter of this study is the theoretical basis of this research.It described the theoretical travel preferences,tourists behaviour,service marketing theory and relevant content that is involved.Chapter Ⅲ of this study analysis the differences and trend from the point of region、human characters and the whole. Chapter Ⅳ sort of five mean aspects that will affect the psychological process of travel accommodation preference and put forward the model. Chapter V meanly put some strategies and advices from the angel of the industry and company respectively.The sixth chapter is part of the conclusion,summarizes the main conclusions of the full text,shows the shortcomings of the department in this study.
