Due to the rapid development of the Internet of things industry,based on the IOT platform,communication operators can get a new share.At the same time,communication operators can provide connectivity services,platform services,application services,information services and other content in the Internet of things industry,from the original to provide dumb pipeline to provide intelligent pipeline.Therefore,it is urgent to combine the capabilities of the IOT platform to design the product pricing strategy and competitive pricing strategy of the Internet of things industry.Firstly,this paper reviews the development of the telecommunications industry,with the prospect of the IOT industry booming,have a significant impact on the development of the telecommunications industry,and puts forward that IOT platform for telecom operators to enter the networking opportunities,so the pricing based on the IOT platform is particularly important for communication operators.Then,from the current situation of research on characteristics of telecommunications industry,telecommunications pricing theory research,domestic and international competition business,such as the single pricing method to determine the pricing of intelligent pipeline products based on the IOT platform is not suitable.At last,this paper determines the research ideas and main contents.Secondly,to study the factors affecting the pricing of traditional telecom based on this,combined with networking business scenarios and requirements that the traditional pricing method is not suitable for intelligent pipeline product,and puts forward the communication operators using the existing access network has been completed,the construction of the IOT private network elements and the IOT platform,meet the communication needs of IOT business customers,not the actual spending of fixed costs,but in the existing network of free,marginal revenue obtained network.Finally,this paper studies the charging method of the Internet of things and the pricing of the Internet of things intelligent pipeline products,and based on the networking needs of customers,design few IOT intelligent pipeline product models.This paper also combines with the differences between the IOT platform ability,in order to achieve good IOT platform and common IOT platform providers the differentiation between the price of the optimal solution,this paper puts forward the exchange value model to manage the telecommunication operators in the IOT business pricing decisions,make communication operators pricing decision to shift from the traditional pricing strategy to value creation for our customers.
