Research On International Competitiveness Of China Marine Engineering Equipment Industry

The equipment industry of marine engineering enjoys a promising development prospect,also is one of the fastest growing industry in the world.In 2010,the State Council includes the marine engineering equipment industry into strategic emerging industries of our country.The equipment industry of marine engineering has been increasingly favored by governments and enterprises around the world;therefore,to have in-depth analysis and evaluation on our country’s international competitiveness of such industry is not only important to the development of the national economy,but also important to the construction of China’s national defense system.This thesis takes China’s marine engineering equipment industry as the research object,analyses the current development situations of the global marine engineering equipment industry and the marine engineering equipment industry of China.On this basis,it ensures such industry’s international competitiveness connotation and the guiding ideology,and establishes evaluation index system of the international competitiveness of the marine engineering equipment industry.It adopts the comprehensive analysis method of AHP-TOPSIS to evaluate the index system,makes comprehensive researches on such industry’s international competitiveness of three countries-China,South Korea and Singapore,and then provides new thinking to the evaluation of the international competitiveness level of marine engineering equipment industry.Finally,in order to guide the development of our country’s marine engineering equipment industry,it puts forward feasible suggestions from the three aspects of industry,enterprise and government,provides objective bases for countries to take reasonable policies and measures,and thus improve our country’s international competitiveness of marine engineering equipment industry.
