Research To Evaluate The Financial Competitiveness Of X Medical Equipment Company

With the improvement in medical level requirements and growing government support for the medical device industry,my country’s medical device industry has entered a period of rapid development.However,the industry started late in my country and there are still many gaps.The manufacture and application of medical products is the central force driving the improvement of my country’s medical level.In order to achieve long-term competitive advantages,it is imperative to maintain and expand the unique competitiveness of medical technology companies.As a key element of the competitiveness of companies,financial competitiveness is of great importance for the sustainable and healthy development of companies.Based on the theory of financial competitiveness and based on the subject of investigation of medical device company X,this article first analyzes the current financial situation of company X based on the six dimensions of solvency,operability,profitability,development capacity,cash flow management capacity and innovation.Capacity.After analysis,Company X was found to have problems such as a high proportion of current liabilities,slow inventory turnover,low profitability,large fluctuations in operating profit growth rate,and highly unstable investments in product research and development.Second,with reference to the relevant guides and previous research by academics,the index system for assessing the financial competitiveness of medical device companies in my country is being prepared.Third,it uses the entropic weight-TOPSIS method to perform a vertical analysis of Firm X’s financial competitiveness over the past decade and uses the principal components analysis method to perform a horizontal comparison of Firm X’s financial competitiveness and summarizes the existing problems in the financial competitiveness of company X.The results show that the financial situation of company X has deteriorated over the last ten years and the overall financial competitiveness shows a tendency to weaken.In 2020,Company X’s financial competitiveness ranks very low in the industry,which is worse than comparable companies.Finally,based on the results of the previous assessment and analysis,this document proposes that Company X improve the quality of its assets,strengthen its asset management,improve its marketing model,expand its funding channels and improve its R&D level in order to strengthen its financial competitiveness and provide references for other medical device companies.
