Study On The Effects Of Convergence Among Primary,Secondary And Tertiary Industries In Rural Areas On Farmers' Income Increase

Recently,China's economy has developed rapidly with an average annual growth rate of nearly 8%,which created a miracle in the history of world economy.However,the policy of giving priority to develop industry and urban-rural dual structure led to serious imbalance between the development of urban and rural.The acceleration of the development process led the widening income gap between urban and rural areas,a slowdown of farmers' income growth,unreasonable income structure.The national "13th Five-Year" plan pointed out: optimizing the structure of agricultural production and regional layout,promoting the construction of industry chain and valuing chain,developing agricultural functions,improving the overall effectiveness of agriculture;narrowing the income gap,increasing the income of urban and rural residents and adjusting of national income distribution pattern.Therefore,the construction of modern agricultural industrial system,production system and management system becomes the pressing problem to be solved.The plan puts forward the promotion of the rural industry convergence among rural first industry,second industry,and the third industry in China,and the approach to development patterns of agricultural modernization with high output efficiency,product safety,resource conservation and environmental friendliness.As an emerging economic activity,industrial convergence development can effectively promote industrial technology innovation,form new competitive relations,reduce operating costs and improve efficiency,which is one of the effective ways to increase farmers' income.It is of great practical significance to study the influence of the convergence of the industrial convergence in rural areas on Farmers' income increase.Firstly,the domestic and foreign scholars are reviewed on the rural industry convergence among rural first industry,second industry,and the tertiary industry and farmers' income increase,which not only defined the connotation of it,but also analyzed the influence mechanism of industrial convergence to farmers' income in three aspects.Extend the industrial chain to the transfer of surplus labor force.Play multifunctional agriculture to increase the added value of agricultural products.Activate production factors by innovative organization.Secondly,according to the development status of farmers' income in rural areas of Zhejiang province and rural industry convergence,analysis of some problems in these.Thirdly,the paper constructs the rating index to measure the level of the rural industry convergence,bythe panel data of 11 city of Zhejiang Province in 2006-2015.Combining with the data,the paper builds a model to do the correlation analysis between the rural industry convergence among rural first industry,second industry,and the tertiary industry and the increase of farmers' income.Finally,based on the theoretical analysis and empirical research,we make policy and recommendations for the rural industry convergence to increase farmers' income.The main conclusions of this paper are as follows: first,the level of the rural industry convergence among rural first industry,second industry,and the tertiary industry in Zhejiang is constantly improving.Second,the level of rural industry convergence is unbalanced in Zhejiang and the level of economic development in different regions is also different.Third,the rural industry convergence among rural first industry,second industry,and the tertiary industry can effectively promote the increase of farmers' income.According to the research,the paper puts forward relevant policy and recommendations: firstly,increase government support;secondly,expand the scale of industrial organizations;thirdly,accelerate the promotion of agricultural science and technology;fourthly,improve the distribution mechanism of interests.The significance of this study mainly has two aspects.On the one hand,few studies analyzed the influence of the rural industry convergence among rural first industry,second industry,and the tertiary industry on the income of the farmers.Based on this perspective,the paper is on the academic front,which enriches the related research in this field.On the other hand,closely linked with major practical problems,the paper analyzes the two hot economic issues,which analyzes the correlation between the increase of farmers' income and the rural industry convergence among rural first industry,second industry,and the tertiary industry in order to provide certain recommendations for promoting the increase of farmers' income and realizing the modernization of agriculture.
