Nowadays, various railway constructing enterprises attend to win a bid with the lowest price under the background of the increasingly fierce competition. Therefore, the project cost management has been an important component of railway constructing enterprises, which is an effective way of improving enterprise’s economic benefits, strengthening enterprise’s market competitiveness, and keeping enterprise’s continuous stable and healthy development. It is a very important subject that railway constructing enterprises face to strengthen the cost management of the project and make great efforts to reduce the cost of the project.Regarding Chinese Regarding Road & Bridge International Co., Ltd. as the research object, this thesis aims to find out the current situation and existing problems of cost control of LY railway project in the company, on this basis, this thesis will propose the tactics of cost control of LY railway project, in order to offer theoretical direction and practical reference for the improvement of the project managerial ability of Chinese Regarding Road & Bridge International Co., Ltd.. First of all, the thesis expounds the research purpose and meaning of this thesis, analyzes the current situation of the project cost control researches at home and abroad, points out the research contents and research approach of this thesis. Secondly, the thesis has introduced the basic theories such as project management theory, project cost management theory and project cost control theory. Then, the thesis has introduced the mode of project management and the procedures of project cost control, analyzed the current situation of the cost control of LY project, and found out the existing problems. On this basis, the thesis analyzes the intension of the cost control of LY railway project, bridge on the way controls while explaining in thesis, control before engaged inning, and proposes the tactics of cost control of LY railway project from three respects such as early control, interim control and post control. Finally, the thesis also puts forward the relevant countermeasures about how to set up the cost control system and cost accounting system of LY railway project.
