With our country Economic development entering the new normal period,construction development has been faced with the challenge of transformation development ideas.As one of the major rapid developing region in our country,Tianjin should consider how to make use of the advantage of the construction industry competitiveness,and narrow the gap with the developed construction provinces such as Jiangsu,Zhejiang,etc.In this paper,the related data about the construction of Tianjin City from 2010 to 2013 made a longitudinal comparison.Sum up the characteristics of the pattern and the trend of recent Tianjin City construction development.According to the two factors of "competitive assets" and "competitive process" in "international competitiveness equation",analyze the influence factors of construction industry competitiveness.Construction industry competitiveness evaluate index system is constructed from nine aspects: the scale of production,industrial structure,social benefits and solid experience in technology and equipment,construction enterprises,development level,potential,correlation industry,construction material consumption.Based on analytic hierarchy process(AHP)-Entropy TOPSIS method,give horizontal evaluation on the construction industry competitiveness research of Tianjin and Beijing,Shanghai,Chongqing,Jiangsu,Zhejiang,Shandong and Liaoning provinces and municipalities in 2013.Analyze the advantages and gaps existed of construction industry development in Tianjin and the region above,provides practical suggestions for Tianjin construction development in the future.
