Vacuum Cleaner manufacture industry has been flourishing since the 1990’s in China.The continuous growing up demand from global market brought the good opportunity of the rapid development to vacuum cleaner manufacture industry.Vacuum cleaner production volume in China ranks the first in the world.The big demand from the home and abroad has been attracting more and more factories into the vacuum cleaner industry and result in the increasing fierce competition.Suzhou Chunju Electric Co.,LTD.,is a vacuum cleaner manufacturer by wholly private capital invested.It is necessary to think deeply currently for Suzhou Chunju Electric Co.,Ltd how to keep the current market share and customers to ensure sustained and stable growth in the fierce competition.It’s the most important and the most priority work for Suzhou Chunju Electric Co.,Ltd to establish scientific and reasonable product development strategy.To make product as endorsement for the enterprise,is an effective method for the company to be at leading position in the industry.Based on the comprehensive analysis and research of vacuum cleaner industry environment of domestic and overseas,and close connection with the macro environment and micro environment of Suzhou Chunju Electric Co.,LTD.,this paper analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the company,analyzes the opportunities and challenges the company faced to by SWOT.On the basis of in-depth research,analysis and comparison of product development strategies,product development strategies of Suzhou Chunju Electric Co.,Ltd is finalized.Seven improvements will be implemented,which are reforming R&D dept.organization structure,introducing the industry elite to join the company,setting up product development system,setting up incentive system,increasing investment of product research & development and building technical roadmap,increasing success rate of product development and implementation of brand strategy.The above seven improvement measures will ensure the implementation and realization of company product development strategy,and lay a firm foundation for improving product development ability,improving the level ofproduct development and the market competitiveness.
