Study On The Relationship Between Urbanization And Economic Development In Changchun

Since 1978,the spring breeze of reform and opening up the motherland,China’s economy to achieve steady growth,urbanization has also been developing with the good momentum of economic growth,has become a powerful engine of economic growth.Then,the urbanization become the focus of our country in the process of seeking development.Eighteen of the party’s put two goals for one hundred years,one is that by2020 China will build a well-off society,efforts to solve livelihood problems,promote social justice and harmony,the goals is not only the need to build a well-off society,is also one of the goals of urbanization.So,the urbanization has become an important things in the growth process,and become our country the important way to China’s modernization.The government work report of 2017 made it clear that we must firmly grasp the key points to promote urbanization,steady progress in promoting urbanization.At the same time,the report pointed out that we should pay attention to consumption,investment,regional,industry,environmental protection and other policies to coordinate and ensure a reasonable range of economic operation.According to the meaning of urbanization,which is mainly manifested in the large accumulation of population,constantly optimize the industrial upgrading,to stimulate consumption and promote the total demand increase,and then expand the investment,at the same time to do a good job of environmental protection,to promote the coordinated development between regions,these are inextricably linked with urbanization and economic development.As the capital of Jilin Province,Changchun is the political,economic,scientific and cultural center of the province.It is located in the hinterland of Songliao plain and is one of the most important cities in Northeast Asia.In recent years,the level of urbanization with an average annual growth about one percentage point has been significantly improved.At present,it is in the stage of rapid urbanization.Therefore,in the current context of the new economy norm,the relationship between urbanization and economic development is explored.Both for the urbanization in Changchun City,or economic development has important far-reaching significance.In this paper,based on reading a large number of relevant literature,the relevant literature about urbanization and economic development is reviewed.The second chapter mainly introduces the related theories and methods of urbanization,and expounds the direct interaction mechanism between urbanization and economic development.The thirdchapter mainly through the methods of historical research and investigation on the development status,from the level of urbanization,industrial structure,income,infrastructure to analyzes the current situation of urbanization in Changchun City,the study found that there are several problems exist,such as: low level of urbanization,the industrial structure is not reasonable,the income gap between urban and rural residents become larger.These provide the the basis to the paper studies and the author according these problems puts some forward relevant suggestions.The fourth chapter uses the Econometric methods to analyze the relationship between economic development and urbanization in Changchun City.And select the urbanization rate and Per capita GDP date as two indicators,the relationship between the two indicators is explored by means of the unit root test,co-integration test,Grainger causality test and impulse response function.The results show that,in recent years,there is the coordination of the relationship between the long-term equilibrium between urban development and economic Changchun but urbanization leading role in economic development is relatively weak,it will take a long time to see the effect,but economic development on the impact of urbanization is more clear.Obviously,in the beginning to reflect the volatility is more obvious,and with the development of society,this promotion is gradually weakened.The fifth chapter on the basis of the previous theory and empirical research,puts forward relevant policy suggestions according to the existing problems of urbanization in Changchun City.The suggestion mainly from optimization of the industrial structure,reform the existing household registration system,promote ecological and environmental protection,building green towns and constantly improving infrastructure to improve the existing urbanization and social economic development in Changchun city.
