Research On The Competitiveness Of Marin Fishery Industry In Shandong Province

Due to the unique geographical location advantages,suitable climatic conditions,economic and social development support,the marine economy has been highly valued by the state and at all levels of government in Shandong Province,especially in Shandong Peninsula area.Internal and external environment has brought very valuable development opportunities,which made it as a very important economic growth point.However,there are many problems in the development process,such as extensive development mode,serious environmental damage,lack of sustainable development capacity and low conversion rate of scientific and technological achievements.The existence of these problems restrict the development of marine economy to a certain extent.Based on the analysis of domestic and foreign literatures,this paper first elaborates and explains the guiding theory and analysis tools of this paper,and then analyzes the present situation of marine fishery industry development in Shandong Province,including the advantages of marine fishery industry development in Shandong Province,the problems in the process of marine fishery industry development and the opportunities facing under the social background.And for the 11 coastal provinces,increased value of marine fisheries,marine catches,mariculture area and mariculture production,possession of motorized fishing vessels,sea production used for processing were analyzed.The main contents of the analysis include both the analysis of the absolute quantity,the relative amount,the growth rate,and also the development trend of each aspect.Based on the analysis,the comprehensive competitiveness of marine fishery industry in 11 coastal provinces was analyzed by AHP.The results showed that the comprehensive competitiveness of marine fishery industry in Shandong Province was significantly higher than that in other coastal province.Finally,according to the problems found in the analysis process and the bottlenecks analyzed before,the countermeasures and suggestions are put forward to improve the competitiveness of marine fishery industry in Shandong province.
