Competition between the hotels is finally the talents' competition.It is an important problem for hotel human resources management to effectively stimulate managers,improve their work enthusiasm and initiative.Many scholars at home and abroad about psychology,organizational behavior and management gradually pay attention in employee silence behavior research.But less research in view of the hotel middle managers as the research object.Hotel middle managers' role and impact is different,so their consideration is different from the grass-roots employees when they keep silence.It is worthy to research on the influence of job satisfaction of middle managers to their silence behavior.In this paper,by collating related literatures about hotel middle managers,job satisfaction and employee silence behavior,found in some scholars' study that to a certain extent the employee's job satisfaction is higher,the frequency of silence is lower,so employees can put forward their views and Suggestions to promote the benign development of the hotel.Therefore,this paper put forward the research hypothesis,namely the job satisfaction of hotel middle managers negative influence on their silence behavior.In order to verify this hypothesis,this paper takes the hotel middle managers as the research object,job satisfaction and its five dimensions as independent variables,silence behavior as the dependent variable,build the corresponding theoretical model.Reasrch on questionnaire investigation and data analysis of more than 15 three-star hotels' department supervisors and managers,then the results showed that: Hotel middle managers' job satisfaction for three dimensions including salary,working conditions and the interpersonal relationship negative influence on their acquiescence silence,ignoring silence and defensive silence behaviors;Hotel middle managers' job satisfaction on the style of leadership has a negative impact on the acquiescence silence and ignoring silence behaviors but not on the defensive silence behaviors.The research hypothesis that hotel middle managers' job satisfaction of management style negative influence on their silence behaviors is not be verified.According to the conclusion of the research and connecting with the working practice,this paper puts forward the corresponding management revelations,hoping to provide new perspectives for hotel human resources management,and broadening the research field of employee silence behavior theory.
