Rural Urbanization Driven By Tourism

Since China's reform and opening up,with "village-city migration" and the development of township enterprises as the guidance of the road of urbanization,notable results have been obtained at the same time,also exposed a series of such as: rural backward decline,bankrupt farmers,agriculture and rural environmental pollution and other issues.In contrast,some rural areas,which rely on tourism to promote rapid economic growth,have some advantages.The study on the rural urbanization of this kind of tourism is worthy of further study.This research through the combing of literature at home and abroad and the onthe-spot investigation,on the basis of space production theory and evolutionary economics,divide the constituent elements of rural urbanization of landscape space urbanization,space urbanization and social urbanization three dimension space.It also constructs the spatial evolution analysis framework of rural urbanization and the evaluation system for the development of rural urbanization.Using literature analysis,case study,qualitative analysis and quantitative research,the combination of macro and micro analysis and methods of geographical spatial analysis,thou farmland tourist area of fujian province as a case study,the research in the evolution process of rural urbanization,under the influence of the tourism on the basis of the path analysis,the main conclusions are as follows:(1)The rural urbanization under the influence of the tourism didn't happen overnight,the process can be roughly divided into three stages: rural tourism urbanization development path to the formation of the initial state,the formation of the rural tourism development path of urbanization and rural tourism urbanization development path of locking phase.In the case of gutian tourism district,2000-06 was the initial state of the tourism development path of its rural urbanization.2007-2009 was the formative stage of its rural urbanization tourism development path;2009-2015 is the locking phase of its rural urbanization tourism development path.(2)The rural tourism development path to the formation of the initial state of urbanization,urbanization is mainly reflected in the landscape space "agricultural land and rural construction land" spatial pattern,and gradually evolved into "agricultural land and urban construction land and rural construction land" of spatial pattern;Urbanization is mainly reflected in its function space: the first industrial output value is reduced,present a "growth-mature-recession" growth momentum,and tourism value rise,present a "development-growth" growth momentum.At this stage,its social space urbanization is not obvious.(3)The formation of the rural tourism development path of urbanization stage,the landscape space urbanization is mainly manifested in the "agricultural land and urban construction land and rural construction land" spatial pattern,and gradually evolved into "agricultural land-urban construction land" of spatial pattern;Its function of urbanization is mainly manifested in: the primary industry output value continues to reduce,present a "recession" growth momentum,the tourist part of the output value of the tertiary industry continues to rise,present the growth situation of the "developmental",and become the dominant industry,tourism industry and presents the "grow and mature" growth momentum.Its social space urbanization is mainly reflected in: the tourism industry has become the main source of income,and the labor population has returned.(4)The countryside urbanization development path of locking phase and the landscape urbanization is mainly reflected in: highly tourism city type settlement landscape form shape development;Urbanization is mainly reflected in its function space: tourism is still the leading industry,present a "mature" growth momentum,the first industry present a "recession-development" growth momentum,the tourist part of the output value of the tertiary industry continues to rise,present a growth trend of development-"mature";Its social space urbanization embodies in: residents concurrent-business tourism income ratio drops,concurrent-business tourism employment income ratio than the tourism income ratio,become the main source of income residents.
