With the deepening of the degree of economic globalization,the social demand for proficiency of complex talent in both English language and business knowledge and skills is increasingly more,that College Business English Major has been an unprecedented advance.But now there exist some problem,such as copy directly from other place,what students learned do not meet their need and the social need,and do not satisfy the require of transition colleges.Therefore,Business English curriculum urgent reform based on analysis of specific research needs.This article is based on the Consideration of Hutchinson and waters’ needs analysis,to make text analysis from the training objectives,content and structure of the curriculum,to understand the ideal state that that transition college established.And then do research about Business English curriculum provision in transition college of the needs of students and employers,namely from senior year undergraduate and their teacher of Business English Major,and the employers that had ever recruited Business English student,to discern the actual state of the case transition college.After that,the author contrast the ideal state to the actual state,and pointing out some problems exist in ideal and actual state.Finally,the author would give some recommendations for improvement from the requirement of transition,the need of student,and the need of employer.With a view to improve the Business English Major curriculum provision of Guangxi University of Finance and economics,and provide a reference for other transition institutions of Business English Curriculum in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.The full text is divided into five parts:The first part is an introduction.Including four major areas,namely topics reason,literature review,research design and definition of the core concepts.In addition,the author of this paper would make an operational definition of curriculum provision,mainly provide a dimension to the questionnaire and interview of the latter part,and with a view to touch the problem more specific.The second part is the theoretical basis of the curriculum of business English in transition.Mainly about the steps of the theory of needs analysis,and the theoretical framework of this study.The third part is the text interpretation of the curriculum provision in the transition period,including curriculum objectives,curriculum content and curriculum structure.This is mainly to know whether the curriculum provision in the transition period is ideal in theory and matches the learning needs of students,and the ability requirements of the employers and the requirements of the state on the transformation of colleges and universities.The fourth part is about the investigation of the curriculum provision of the case college,mainly on the graduates and their teachers of Business English professional,and some of the investigation of employers which had been hired students who graduated from Business English of the case college.In order to gain the learning needs of students,and the ability requirements that employers want.And finally master the ideal Status of Business English Curriculum in the transition period.The fifth part is about the analysis and reasoning of the curriculum provision in the transition period.Based on the basis of textual analysis and field research,pointing out some problems in case institutions on the training objectives,curriculum content and curriculum structure,and then to understand,to get to the root causes of these problems through corresponding interviews.The sixth part is the suggestion of the curriculum provision in the transition period.Mainly from the angles of students’ learning needs,the employer’s employment needs and the requirements of college transformation,putting forward some practical and feasible suggestions from the views of curriculum objectives,curriculum content and curriculum structure of Business English Professional of case college,aiming to improve the curriculum provision of case college,and providing reference of other transitional institutions in Guangxi in the curriculum provision of Business English Professional.
