Under the background of "people oriented" new urbanization, more and more attention has been paid to the fairness distribution of public service facilities. The government not only provide public facilities to meet the basic needs of citizens but also should pay attention to the traffic demand of vulnerable groups.Whether the distribution of public facilities is equity?Whether it will lead to social exclusion? So this paper select urban public transport as the research object. And study the spatial equity of public transport facilities in Wuhan. This paper constructs a transport service supply index to measure the public transport resources and describes the distribution of public transport facilities in the main city of Wuhan. Then use the Gini coefficients to explores the equity distribution of public transport for two separate disadvantaged cohorts including elderly residents,low-income people and compare to the total population.Meanwhile, the spatial distribution of traffic facilities in different populations was analyzed by using location entropy. At last we draw some meaningful conclusions:Firstly, the spatial distribution of public transport resources in Wuhan is as the trend of "center periphery".A large number of public transport resources in the core city and around some commercial Center Street.Less public transport resources are distributed in the urban fringe.Secondly,The Gini coefficient for the overall population of Wuhan is 0.324,The Gini coefficient for the elderly is 0.384 and The Gini coefficient for the is 0.384,Therefore,the distribution of public transport resources in the elderly population and low-income people is more unfair than total population.Based on the analysis of location entropy of public transportation resources, the elderly and low-income groups which in the core city enjoy a higher proportion of public resources,However, where enjoy a lower proportion of public resources at the urban fringe. This paper uses the Gini coefficient to analyze the spatial distribution of public transport resources among different groups in Wuhan. Therefore,it provides a new method to compare the fairness distribution of public transportation resources among different groups. It is necessary to reasonably allocate the public transportation resources and improve the fairness of the public transport of vulnerable groups...
