OEM has become one of the main ways to participate in the international division of labor to our country under the background of economic globalization.But due to our OEM enterprises have some congenital deficiencies,such as lack of brand,out of the market,low profits,etc.In addition,the global economic recession,regional political unrest,trade protectionism,domestic raw material prices continue to rise,the rate of inflation higher step by step,Enterprise financing costs continue to increase,it make the low cost competitive advantage of our country's industry goes gradually faded,and OEM industry transfer gradually to southeast Asian countries.The Electronic products production has been dominant in the OEM industry,so OEM enterprise urgently needs new strategic thinking to promote the competitiveness of the industry under the new economic situation,and under the pressure of global industry transfer.This article focus on the strategy research of Quanta of the world's largest notebook computer OEM enterprise.In order to explore a suitable for quanta strategic development way in the current severe competitive environment,to offer the reference for our OEM enterprise development in the future.First of all,it review strategy manage theory like PEST,Porter's five models and SWOT;then it analysis the macro environment by PEST theory and industry environment by Porter's five models,and analysis by EFE model;and next it an alysis Quant's resource and ability,then use SWOT to deeply analyzes the internal environment of Quanta's strengths,weaknesses,and external opportunities and threat,meanwhile use IFE model to quantified.At last,base on the external and internal analysis to choose global and competition strategy and also provide suggestions for strategy deployment,implement and assurance.
