Profound influence aroused by combined effects from China macroscopical policy and protean international economical status has been added to China Expo.Economy.Gutex(Guangzhou Textile Industry Union)has too be facing the increasing challenge brought by keen market competition these days.It is a must to work out the strategy in keeping Gutex out of the declining and survival from the recessionary,meanwhile striving to a bright developing phase.Studying Gutex practice in connection with the competition management theory,this article was formed in a aim to discover the efficient layout for future.Crowning of all,a brief introduction for the full line of hometextile suppliers in China,using the tools of 5-competition essentials given by Dr.Michael Porter to analyse the outer surroundings of the enterprise,and then, coming to realizing the inner status by utilizing tools of value chain,since acknowledgement of the advantages & shortcomings,a basis for SWOT model is found. Though the detailed learning from the model,there comes the core of the competition power of Gutex.Further,combined with the company's short term and long term purpose,the suited strategy-Costs leadership strategy comes into form.As the final step,a series of practicing proposals is given to fulfill and guarantee the execution of the strategy.
