Textile industry is the pillar industry of our country, and it is universally acknowledged that China is a big country of textile products and clothing import and export. Since China was affiliated to WTO, the quota restrictions of textile and clothing has been gradually cancelled, which greatly prompt the development of our textile industry.With the global economy merging into an organic whole. the enterprises of China are faced with a wider-opened domestic market and an increasingly severe international competition. In order to survive in a long term and develop continuously, the enterprises should study strategic management. The enterprise should establish a strategy, which is adapted to the market economy and leads to the development of enterprises, to increase the competition capacity of our domestic enterprises in the international market.However, the textile and garments industry is facing unprecedented difficulties. Downturn in the international economic situation, the textile and garments exports continue deterioration of the environment. With RMB appreciation, the rising of production prices, lower export tax rebates, the tightening of monetary policy, the United States sub-loan crisis, in the face of a series of negative factors, since the second half of 2007, textile and garment enterprises have been more and more difficult. In the face of increasingly fierce market competition, Liaoning Times Garment Imp. /Exp. Company has a lot of problem to sort out.This article can be divided into four parts. Firstly, it analyzes the exterior environment of the company, including macro environment and industry environment. Secondly, it also introduces the interior environment of the company, mainly analyzing the present situation of the company, the resources and the capability of the company. Thirdly, according to SWOT, it establishes the competitive strategy of the company. Finally, it gives the suggestion of carrying out the company's development strategy.
