On Evolution Of Market Structure And Its Factors Of Grain Import In China

With the restriction of cultivated land resources,the stability of agricultural production technology and the slowdown of grain production,it is necessary to increase grain imports to meet the growing domestic market demand.But the world economic environment,grain import policy and other factors will affect the stability of the import market structure,increase the import risk of different varieties of cereals.First of all,this article will be rice,wheat,corn,barley these four kinds of grain as the object of study,grain and grain,market structure and the concept of the definition of species structure,theoretical analysis and the existing domestic and foreign literature on the basis of indicators Evaluation and model analysis to provide theoretical support.Secondly,the basic structure of grain import market is analyzed by the basic measurement method.And the fluctuation of the import scale was obvious.The grain structure of different cultivars changed significantly.From the point of view of the variety structure,wheat-based diversification to the variety of development.In terms of market structure,grain imports are highly concentrated: rice is concentrated in Thailand,wheat is concentrated in Canada,Australia and the United States,while maize is concentrated in the United States and barley is concentrated in Australia,and barley is added to emerging markets.Thirdly,the structural evolution of cereal import market in 1994-2014 was studied by using market structure index,Bain market structure classification standard,matching index and dependence coefficient.It was found that the structure of rice import market worsened after optimization;the wheat worsened after optimization,but the optimization was not significant;the structure of barley was optimized step by step,but the process was slow.Rice,wheat and barley were highly correlated,maize showed the trend of optimization and high intensity,but the matching is weak.Grain imports are more dependent on a small number of markets,the market vulnerable to shocks,the market structure there is still a large room for optimization.Fourthly,using the constant market share model,the factors influencing the grain import market structure are analyzed empirically.It is found that grain import market structure is mainlyaffected by domestic economic policy,international economic environment,commodity structure and market structure factors,among which tariff quota and agricultural subsidy policy are the main factors to promote cereal import and market structure optimization.Finally,based on the empirical results and the analysis of grain import market structure evolution,this paper puts forward some suggestions on how to optimize the grain import market structure from the perspective of cereal import market,grain tariff policy and international market environment.
