Nonmetallic mineral resources are an important material basis for national and regional economic development.With the rapid growth of China’s economy in recent years,thelimitedconsumption of non-metallic mineral resources has led to a decline in the level of resource assurance.Resource constraints have become an important issue for the sustainable development of the national economy.In order to ensure the sustainable and effective supply of non-metallic mineral resources,it is necessary to strengthen the management of exploration and development of non-metallic mineral resources.The planning of non-metallic mineral resources is a prerequisite for effective management of non-metallic mineral resources exploration and development.Non-metallic mineral resources planning is a special planning for non-metallic mineral resources in the planning of non-metallic mineral resources,which is relatively late in China and lacks the necessary theoretical and methodological support for non-metallic mineral resources planning.Therefore,it is necessary to study the theory and method of nonmetal mineral resource planning.This paper summarizes the research status of nonmetal mineral resources in China and abroad,analyzes the main body involved in the planning of nonmetal mineral resources in Baotou and the behavior of exploration and development,summarizes the logical thinking process of planning and planning of nonmetal mineral resources in Baotou;The natural attributes and economic characteristics of non-metallic mineral resources,exploration and development activities and the resulting environmental impact were also analyzed.Based on the experiences of domestic and foreign mineral resources remediation planning,the theory and method system of nonmetallic mineral resources planning research in Baotou City is established preliminarily.According to the theory and method system,combined with the current economic development of Baotou and the status of non-metallic resources of Baotou City,non-metallic mineral resources planning was analyzed,while the exploration,development and utilization of non-metallic mineral resources and scientific and reasonable Planning and deployment.
