Bankcards have been developed rapidly around the world since it was made in 20 century.It's playing an important part in people's daily life and driving finance innovation and economical development etc.With the developing of bankcards,bankcards industry in China have been growing quickly and China becomes one of the most developed and potential country that manufacture bankcards.The technology of bankcards keeps updating,especially on smart cards such as “IC cards”.But after the new way of payment raised,for example on-line payment,which decrease the importance of bankcards as payment tool and take partial marketing share,bankcards industry face big challenge,same to bankcards manufacturers,they also face the changing of survival.For manufacturers which meet sale target through customer orders,demand-oriented management is the main way to implement orders by most of bankcards manufacturer,build to order.Through investigation,order management is important to manufacturer's survive and development and is the main source to gain competitive advantages,also order management still has a lot space to be improved in bankcards industry.Under the fierce competition environment,manufacturers must focus on order management optimization to meet both company target and customer satisfaction to increase competitive.Firstly,this research summarize the import/ export data which comes from China Customs starts from year 2010 to 2015 for both magstripe cards and “IC” cards,even if the new way of payment is popular and market share is increasing,Chinese bankcards exportation is still very strong.This research discuss about the trend of development for Chinese bankcards manufacturer.Secondly,this research is to use IDEF0 and ASME to analyze the order management process,elaborate every detailed process which involved each departments and final output to list all the non-valued and time-consuming parts,then to find out current issues of the existing process.Thirdly,suppose to achieve manufacturers' target and meet customer satisfaction as the two main targets of manufacturers,build optimization model based the theory of QFD and structure of HOQ and through collecting criteria and confirming relevance.In the end,choose one manufacturer as an example to test the model and provide specific optimization plan to solve practical problems.
