| Environmental protection is a common problem faced by all countries in the global economic sustainable development.As a developing country,China is now in the stage of rapid industrialization and will inevitably face the challenge of ecological and environmental problems while developing economy.The international community is also increasingly aware of the importance of environmental issues,and then began to increase attention to environmental performance.As one of the basic energy industries,the power industry not only in China’s national economic development has a pivotal position,also in the national economic development occupies a priority.Since the 1990 s,the domestic power industry has embarked on the road of reform in the context of reform and adjustment of the global power industry.Industry system is more complete,but there are still some problems in the development of urgent need to solve,such as the development of the system in terms of relatively slow adjustment of industrial structure,as well as the entire industry long-term high energy consumption,high pollution.In different economic context,the regional power industry environmental performance development are also different.In view of this,this paper focuses on China’s regional power industry environmental performance evaluation.Based on the previous research,this paper first describes the literature review of environmental performance at home and abroad and the relevant theoretical basis,followed by the use of DEA model for environmental performance analysis.In the traditional DEA model,it is only concerned with the expected output and neglected unexpected output,which obviously cannot be more comprehensively evaluated for performance.Therefore,in order to evaluate the environmental performance more accurately,this paper establishes the super-efficient DEA optimization model,and analyzes the environmental performance of China’s power industry from 2010 to 2014 through the panel data.Then,the external factors influencing the performance of China’s electric power production environment are analyzed by the Tobit model regression.The empirical results show that the performance of power production environment in China is not balanced,and the difference is obvious.Jiangsu,Shanghai,Beijing and Inner Mongolia and other regions of the relatively high environmental performance,and Yunnan,Sichuan and Jilin and other regions of the environmental performance is relatively low.T The reasons for the differences include the internal factors of the technical level and the scale of the power industry,as well as the macroscopic factors including the total population of the region,the proportion of the secondary industry electricity consumption and the coal consumption per unit area of GDP.Finally,from the national and industry aspects to improve China’s power production environment performance put forward the rationalization of the proposal. |
