The Research On Industrial Environmental Performance And Its Influencing Factors Based On Super Efficiency And SBM

With the development of our country’s economy, the contradiction betweenresources, environment and economic development is increasingly prominent, soeconomic model of the energy saving and emission reduction which advocatesharmony with nature and the sustainable development draws the attention of thepeople. Based on the composition of the economy in our country and the origin anddevelopment of the ecological economy, industry is the key of the energy saving andemissions reduction, thus the evaluation of the industrial environmental performanceis good for developing the saving energy and emission reduction in our country. Inorder to better monitor the dynamic developmental trend of the industrialenvironmental performance, it is important theoretically and realistically to evaluatechanging situation objectively and effectively.First of all, this paper reviewed and summarized the domestic and foreignresearch, briefly discussed the relevant concepts and theories of environmentalperformance; Then, the China industrial environmental performance static model wasbuilt through comparing the DEA model which considers environmental factors andthe characteristic of processing the unexpected output, and the industrialenvironmental performance dynamic model of super efficiency SBM model wasconstructed by using the Malmquist-Luenberger index; Then, the author had a staticanalysis and dynamic decomposition of China industrial environmental performance.China was divided into eight big economic regions which had a variance analysis ofthe static performance value. Finally,this paper made an empirical analysis on theinfluencing factors of static environmental performance via using tobit regressionmodel. The empirical analysis results showed that though the overall level of theregional industrial environmental performance in China in the year of study is nothigh, but most parts of the industrial environmental performance has been graduallyimproved; Environmental efficiency in eight regional economy are differencesignificantly, and eight region are divided into three parts by environmentalperformance values. The eastern coastal economic region and northern coastal regionon environmental performance are the highest, comprehensive economic region of thesouthern coastal are poorer, and the rest of the five are the worst economic region;Environmental performance in our country are continually improved because of technological progress. Resource consumption, regional economic developmentlevel,industry structure, investment on industrial pollution control and economicextroverted degree in China have a significant effect on environmental performance ofregion industry. Finally, the author put forward the measures and suggestions ofimproving industrial environment level by combining with the empirical analysis ofthe above, and further research in the future was discussed.
