At present,there are three significant features in the all-purpose card industry,which are rapid development,cross-regional development and cross-field development.So the regional competition,industry competition and disputing the industry chain resources could not be avoided.As competition intensifies,a variety of isolated "card" system appear in this area,different systems are required in different regions and different industries.Therefore,more and more cards are in the people's hands,and all-purpose card means barriers to public.In order to solve the problem of "multi-card coexistence,multi-card barrier" in Guangdong province,and achieve the interoperability of all kinds of cards in Guangdong province,this paper takes Guangdong Traffic Card Company as researching object and studies the operation management of this company based on the theory of operation management,process re-engineering and industry value chain.Firstly,the analyses of company's operation situation,as well as the stage of development of all-purpose card's industry,the macro-environment and the competition of industry,are carried on.And through studying the external challenges and opportunities,and internal advantage and inferior,some problems existing in the operation and management and their roots are explored,which are lack of business integration,poor user experiences,high cost of service.Then,according to the thought of “strengthening internal management,optimizing external environment”,the improvement strategies of the operation management of Guangdong Traffic Card Company are put forward from the following aspects,which are the adjustment of the organizational structure,strengthening management mechanism,strengthening cooperation,accelerating information integration,in order to help the company to increase management efficiency,reduce service costs and keep stable cooperation.Finally,the guarantees of implementing the improvement strategies from following aspects are suggested,which are unifying the thought,shaping the enterprise culture,playing the role of leadership and strengthening support of the policy system.It is hoped to realize the mission of the company,that is making easier life to the public,helping partners manage more efficiently,promoting the industry management more scientific,proving the economic development more coordinated.
