This paper takes H company workshop as an example, this paper proposes an improved SLP analysis method to analyze the workshop layout based on the modeling of the facility layout problem through mathematical modeling, constraint condition is set in line with the actual situation of the plant, and combined with the PSO algorithm is used to solve the parameters through reasonable design,encoding design and simulation. And the adjustment according to the actual situation, finally draw the map with the expected distribution of workshop layout. First of all, through the analysis of the basic principles of the traditional SLP algorithm and the improvement of SLP algorithm implementation process and the principle of PSO algorithm, it laid the foundation for the theory and practice of the article. Secondly, the status of H company, the workshop production process, production equipment were analyzed by H on the requirements of the facility layout, and a series of problems faced by H company at present, determine the layout of the target. Again, to divide the work unit according to the actual situation of the company, the analysis between each operating unit logistics relation,and its quantitative design and a questionnaire survey was conducted on the non logistics relation, master the operation unit area demand, provide the basis for subsequent modeling.Based on the data and theoretical analysis, this paper analyzes the existing situation of the company through improved SLP method,the factors of logistics and non logistics factors respectively through data analysis and questionnaire were quantified and modeled according to the previously determined to maximize the lowest cost of logistics and non logistics relation and two goals. The normalization factor makes the two target to form an objective function be made one, and then set up the corresponding constraints, finally using PSO algorithm to solve the model, and finally the optimal solution is obtained through the simulation method,adjusted according to the actual production situation, finally get the map layout graphic design for H company the actual situation of production. The design of the algorithm to solve the production workshop of H company's existing high transport costs, non logistics relation is low, there are a lot of waste of logistics cost in the total logistics cost is better than traditional SLP method 15.9%, increase the total non logistics relation 14.05%, and in the performance and accuracy of the traditional SLP algorithm, this paper demonstrates the the algorithm is feasible and can be put into production.
