The Research Of Application For Six Sigma Quality Management In K Company

Six sigma quality management is a kind of management system to improve ability of operation in a company. It is a powerful tool for enterprises to reply marketing competition and improve customer satisfaction. Six sigma quality management system has been applied for enterprises since 90's. Although it's created great value, the application process never did run smooth. Failure of the cases are all common. So how to integrate Six sigma quality management into the production and operation activities of the enterprise, how to improve quality level meanwhile reduce the cost of production, foster and manage talents by combined Six sigma with the enterprise's own cultural characteristics become more and more important.This thesis is going to investigate and survey the operation of K Company through the combination of theory and practice. It find out the deficiencies of Six sigma quality management system in the company by summarized and analyzed the status quo. The primary shortcoming has been deeply explored via the current situation and the following suggestion have been put forward:Firstly, Six sigma concept should be integrated into company culture by improving the quality awareness of all staff. Secondly, the relationship between quality objectives and performance management must be reinforced. Everyone should be take the responsibility for the respect objectives. Thirdly, the training of Six sigma has to be intensified for fostering and improving the base of talents. Fourthly, build up data analysis system to ameliorate quality and business decision service of the company. Fifthly, promote the Six sigma quality improvement project to form an effective closed loop with the concept of standardization in lean production.Through author's experience in operation of the company, guided by the Six sigma and combined with company's actual situation to apply the improvement suggestion into production practice, the good results are obtained and at the same time, the foundation for further improvement are settled.Finally, some conclusions are mentioned in the end of this paper for the further communication and discussion.
