Financial strategy is the strategy of managing funds in the enterprise strategy,and the financial planning,investment and distribution are planned from the financial point of view.Since the 21 st century,with the impact of electricity and foreign retail enterprises,China’s retail enterprises have been an unprecedented hit,the domestic retail enterprises have low growth and negative profits.Enterprises want to survive in such an unfavorable economic situation,the opportunity to survive and develop,we must develop a financial strategy for their own development.This paper first uses the literature research method to sort out the domestic and foreign scholars on the financial strategy research results,elaborated the concept of financial strategy,type and selection theory,for the back of the Xinhua department store financial strategy to provide a solid theoretical basis.And then through the analysis found that the current implementation of the Xinhua department store is a rapid expansion of the financial strategy,there is the scale of investment expansion,increased financing scale and income distribution characteristics.And then use the SWOT analysis method to carry on the qualitative analysis to the present financial strategy of the Xinhua department store and discover that the financial strategy of the Xinhua department store does not fully consider the influence of the environment.By building the financial strategy matrix of the Xinhua department store,it is found that the value created by the financial strategy matrix in recent years is changing,and the value of the annual growth is decreasing.Xinhua department store to develop a rapid expansion of the financial strategy has become particularly appropriate,the company did not according to the actual situation to adjust the original financial strategy.By comparing the changes of the core financial indicators before and after the implementation of the expansion plan of the Xinhua department store,it is found that the implementation of the rapid expansion financial strategy makes the service capacity,operating capacity and profitability of the Xinhua department store decline.Finally,in view of the problems found in the financial strategy of Xinhua department store,it is suggested that the Xinhua department store will adjust the current rapid expansion financial strategy to the stable development of financial strategy,reduce the scale of investment,scale of financing and appropriate dividend distribution.And finally come to a certain inspiration.Through the analysis of the financial strategy of the Xinhua department store in the retail industry,the aim is to make use of the financial strategy suitable for the development of theenterprise to ensure its sustainable development and create the value for the enterprise in order to realize the enterprise’s expected goal.Research on the radical expansion of the Xinhua department store financial strategy hope to give other retail companies in the retail industry in the context of the downturn in the development of financial strategy to bring reference and guidance.
