Employee involvement(EI)is the basis of total quality management(TQM)in the aerospace enterprises with the core task of positioning accurately niche customers and improving continuously the process management by the tool of PDCA.And the accountability of EI has a significant impact on all aspects of quality management practices(QMP).Therefore,EI and the QM performance resulted from the QMP in H company will directly affect the efficiency of aerospace products or services output.Based on the actual situations of employees' involvement in the QMP of H company and combined with relevant literature research,this paper puts forward a model of the relationship among the EI,employee's QM performance,and accountability of participating,and tries to explore the relationships among three variables by empirical research,and then puts forward some suggestions to improve the EI and staff QM performance according to the conclusion.The main conclusions are as follows:1.H company's EI of the QMP includes three levels of content such as decision-making,information sharing,teamwork.The accountability of participating of the employee can be composed of four dimensions: the rapid response,justifying,conscientiousness,initiative.Employee's QM performance can be divided into quality task performance,contextual performance of quality organization,adaptive performance of quality management practice.2.In the course of QMP in H company,there is the correlations and causal relationships among the embedded factors of the three variables,defined as the EI of QM,accountability of EI,QM performance,which is just exploring as the following:(1)Teamwork has positive impact on accountability of EI and QM performance,and can be used as a indicator of accountability of EI and QM performance.(2)Participation in decision-making has a positive impact on accountability of EI,contextual performance and adaptive performance,and can be used as a indicator of these two variables.(3)Information sharing can be used as a indicator for quality task in due to having a positive impact on it.(4)the accountability plays a complete mediating role between participation in decision-making and contextual performance,and between teamwork and contextual performance;and the accountability plays a buffering role between the decision-making and quality task performance,and between teamwork and adaptive performance,and between teamwork and quality task performance.3.The accountability of EI in the QMP will make a buffering effect on this mechanism which says that different levels of EI will induced different impacts on three types of QM performance in the specific aerospace enterprise.What's concluded above is of theoretical significance to improve the Total Quality Management(TQM)of H Aerospace Company.
