Nowadays,companies in the environment of economic recession must continuously improve the performance to survive in the fierce competition.Enterprise's performance is determined by employee's job performance,as a result,each big enterprise dedicates to improving the performance of individual employees so as to improve business performance.Transformational leadership behavior as a factor which can significantly affect employee's performance has been the attention of many scholars.So far,studies have confirmed that transformational leadership behavior can positively promote employee's performance,and that factors such as psychological capital and LMX,play an intermediary role between transformational leadership and employee's job performance.But there was no research studying if person-organization fit has mediation effect between transformational leadership and employee's work performance.Therefore,research on this mechanism of action has vital significance.This study explores if there is a positive prediction relationship between each dimension of the transformational leadership,person-organization fit and employee's job performance,and this is the first time that we select person-organization fit as the intermediary role between transformational leadership and job performance.In addition,empirical research in Chinese enterprises also enriches the field of transformational leadership under Chinese culture.This study adopts questionnaire survey method,selects questionnaires of transformational leadership and person-organization fit with good reliability and validity,at the same time,according to the theory of job performance and related literature,and by predicting survey,we compile an applicable questionnaire of job performance.We choose 223 staffs of four large enterprises in Yantai and Jinan as research object.The reliability and validity analysis show that the data has good reliability and stability.And then in turn by descriptive statistics analysis,correlation analysis,hierarchical regression analysis,the mediation effect test and structure equation model to verify whether there is significant positive effect between these three variables and the effect of mediation.Research results show that each dimension of transformational leadership has significant positive effect on each dimension of job performance,each dimension of transformational leadership has significant positive effect on each dimension of person-organization fit,each dimension of person-organization fit has significant positive effect on each dimension of job performance,person-organization fit has partial mediation effect between transformational leadership and job performance.
