Which kind of leadership style can adapt to different types of organizational, has become a common concern subject in recent years. Starting with from the leadership style, this article studies the relationship between transformational leadership style and organization performance based on the goal setting.Based on the mature questionnaires at home and abroad, the study prepares questionnaires about transformational leadership, goal setting and organization performance, surveying 144 companies from Qingdao, Yantai and Weifang for obtaining relevant data. Referring to the study results of transformational leadership, the paper puts forward corresponding assumptions and constructs the theoretical model. Through correlation analysis and regression analysis, the paper explores the relevant relationship among transformational leadership, goal setting and organizational performance. The results show that transformational leadership and its various dimensions have positive relationship with organizational performance; transformational leadership and its various dimensions have positive relationship with goal setting; goal setting and its various dimensions have positive relationship with organizational performance; transformational leadership impacting on organizational performance is through the intervening variable of goal setting, so transformational leadership can be direct or indirect impact on organizational performance.Finally, the results showed that in the management practice enterprises should develop the manager’s transformational leadership style, make full use of goal setting to effectively motivate employees to play independent ability, especially by vision incentive and employees participating in the target setting, to make employees clearly know organizational goals and feel the value of their work and influence, so as to encourage employees to performance better in return organization and to improve organizational performance better. |
