Thriving at work is a kind of positive psychological state that the staff can experience both vitality and learning simultaneously. It has a great effect on employee performance, innovation ability, job satisfaction, physical and mental health.Compared to the employee who cannot achieve thriving, the employee who is on the state of thriving has low absenteeism rate and illness, meanwhile they continue to achieve self-growth and physical and mental health. It not only helps to improve the performance of the enterprise, but also save the medical and labor cost. Therefore,it is of great significance for business managers to find out how to make employees work in a thriving state, but the current research on the thriving at work are mostly concentrated in the foreign countries, relative research in domestic are dificient, not to say the antecedents. The social embedded model of thriving puts forward that the characteristics of the situation in the department and the resources produced in the work through the agentic behavior generated thriving. While the integrative model of human growth at work put emphasis on the subjective initiative,it hold that external situational factors contribute to the thriving at work through three mechanisms of self-determination.All of these two model provided a theoretical framework for the study of thriving. Therefore,we can infer that perceived organizational support as a key working resource of the organization, self efficacy as an internal psychological mechanism of the individual will both exert great impact on thriving. So,this dissertation select the Perceived organizational support and self-efficacy to explore their impact on the thriving.Firstly, through the relevant literature study, find out the logical relationship between three variables, and construct the theoretical model of this dissertation, then put forward the research hypothesis;Next,we choose the corresponding measuring tools, and use the presurvey to optimize it.On the basis of optimized measuring tools we put forward our formal questionnaire,a total of 389 employee filled in the questionnaire. Then we conduct the reliability test and confirmatory factor analysis to modify the model.Through the correlation and multiple hierarchical regression analysis,we test the proposed hypotheses; Finally,In line with the test results,we finally obtained the result of this study as follows:Firstly, perceived organizational support exert positive prediction on thriving at work.Among them, the work support and the interest care has a positive impact on the vitality and learning dimension, but the value identity has no significant influence on two dimension of thriving at work.Secondly, self efficacy has positive prediction on thriving at work and it's two dimensions.Thirdly, perceived organizational support has positive prediction on self efficacy.Among them, the work support and interest care has a positive impact on the self efficacy, but the value identity has no significant influence on self efficacy.Fourthly, self efficacy exert mediating effect on the nexus of perceived organizational support and thriving at work.It also has partly mediating effect on the relationship between work support?interest care?value identity and vitality, partly mediates the relationship between work support?interest care?value identity and learning.Through this paper,we have further understanding the effect of perceived organizational support and self efficacy on thriving. And trying to provide some theoretical guidance for managers to improve the vitality of employees in the work, and promote more learning behavior. However, there are some deficiencies and limitations in this paper, which also helps to point out the directions for further research on thriving at work.
