In knowledge economy era, more and more managers are beginning to realize the importance of knowledge management and personal value for enterprise development. "People-oriented" management concept comes up in this period and proposes to pay attention to develop comprehensive and sustainable employees.Thriving at work is a new field of positive organizational behavior, which concerns about the physical and mental growth of employees from a perceptive and cognitive view. Thriving at work improves work efficiency and effectiveness, and it is significant to achieve personal or organizational goals. Some studies have confirmed that perceived organizational support(POS) have a positive effects to employee’s performance, positive emotions, but no one has explored the relationship among perceived organizational support, thriving at work and job performance.After a review of previous research, we use standard empirical research method to discuss the relationship among perceived organizational support, thriving at work and job performance. At first, this paper defines the concept of POS, thriving at work and job performance in the empirical part, and puts forward the theoretical model and corresponding hypotheses. Then we use Spss19.0 software to analyze statistics and collect data from 192 questionnaires, aiming to verify the 15 hypotheses proposed in this paper.The results are listed as following:(1) Descriptive analysis indicated that the demographic variables like age,marriage, work experience show significant differences on organizational support;Thriving at work displays the significant difference in degree and work experience;Degree, the nature of enterprise and work experience vary greatly with job performance.(2) Factor analysis shows that POS can be well identified as a structure of two dimensions; Thriving at work in China can also be divided into two dimensions,learning and vitality.(3) POS shows a significant positive correlation with thriving at work and job performance, while thriving at work is positively related with job performance.Thriving at work plays a role of intermediary between POS and job performance.Finally, this article discussed the relationship among POS, thriving at work and job performance based on analysis report, and puts forward some improving measures and suggestions for management. At the last part of the study, the author points out the limitations and the future study direction.
